Contracts Assistant [Sweden]

 

Overview / Responsibilities:

Wood is currently recruiting for a Contracts Assistant to be based on site at our project in Lysekil, Sweden. This is a temporary position for approximately 9 months.

Responsibilities

  Support the assigned Site Contracts Manager / Contract Engineers in their activities
• Maintain the filing system for field construction contracts
• Prepare notices and other correspondence for signature in accordance with the requirements of the contracts, as applicable
• Assist in the raising and closure of field instructions and liaise with Cost Engineer to ensure effective information flow. Support field variation order action, where appropriate
• Review and analyse contractors submitted daywork records and material invoices for correctness in accordance with the contract, keep an up to date record system
• Review of payment application documentation to ensure that the payments to Contractors are correct and processed to enable their timely receipt according to the terms of their contracts
• Periodic review of Contractor’s bonds and insurances to ensure they are in force and renewal documents are submitted and filed

Skills / Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
