We're looking for multiple entertaining, reliable Virtual Event Hosts to run surprisingly fun virtual team-building events.

We host surprisingly fun in-person and virtual team-building events. Most events are 90 minutes and include a mix of fun games and activities, some of our virtual team-building events are: "Hidden Stripey Guy", “Field Day”, “Scavenger Hunt”, “The Great Guac Off”, “Art Of Storytelling Workshop”, “Ultimate Game Show”, etc.
We are a 100% remotely managed company, with hub cities for in-person events in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington DC currently! We’re looking to add team members (contractor base employment, Virtual Host roles) in the GMT+0 to GMT+8 time zones.
Virtual event hosts for the above-mentioned cities will undertake training virtually to prepare to take the lead role to host virtual events and be supported by a senior host and/or Customer Experience Team remotely.
Our Events you'll be hosting/co-hosting are
- typically 90 minutes
- currently facilitated virtually using Zoom
- typically have 1 Lead Host (Solo). Large groups will have + 1 support Co-Host
- crafted to be wildly entertaining, with elements of intentional team building
- delivered + designed by amazing creative facilitators
Our Lead Hosts
- Vary from actors, comedians, writers, nerds, historians, teachers, trainers, etc
- Are really great at event structures & scripts elements and making it their own
- Are comfortable being in the spotlight and being the life of the party (while also make the focus the group, not themselves)
- Can create authentic interactions between group members
- Can think on their feet and make decisions that are for the best of their individual event in the moment.
- Can give extremely clear instructions and information for game set-up.
Our Co-Hosts
- love being involved in the events as secondary support
- are great with technology! They set-up the breakout rooms, drop links in the chat, and overall help with event administrative support like scoring
Job Requirements
- Available in CET and IST time zones
- Own personal computer (no chromebooks)
- Strong WIFI to steam calls on Zoom.
- Strong English Communication. Additional languages a plus.
- PERSONALITY to own and successfully run events, and be a “people person” with excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Must be extremely reliable AKA: looking for those with attendance gold stars.
- Attention to detail!
- Can give extremely clear instructions and information for game set-up
- Are comfortable being in the spotlight and being the life of the party
- Ability to think on your feet and creatively problem-solve issues in front of guests without making it look hard or daunting.
- Personable communication in English. Note: Authentic > professional language.
- MUST attend training and successfully pass a skills assessment where you demo the event for our HQ staff. Once you pass the demo, you're approved to run events either solo or paired with another event facilitator(s).
- Must be age 21+.
- With relevant experience or in some capacity is preferred (theater, improv, performers, comedians, trainers, etc.) or customer-facing experience.
Starting Date
We are looking for virtual event facilitators to join us as asap. You’ll begin as a Co-host and work your way to a Lead Host.
Compensation and Estimated Workload
You will be paid with a flat rate + gratuity, in accordance with the assigned role(s).
Events are typically 90 min, with 15 min early arrival for a total shift time around 1.75 hours
Compensation:
- Virtual Event Host Role: A flat rate of $60 USD per event + gratuity
- Virtual Event Co-Host Role: $40 per event + gratuity
- $22 / hour during training: Normally the training for Virtual Event Host will take 2 days (4-6 hours per day)
Gratuity:
- Gratuity is split between the Lead Host (75%) and Co-Host (25%). Normally the amount is between $50-$75+ per event.
Estimated Workload:
- 2-3 shifts per month
